To ensure our customers have peace of mind, we offer the following warranty terms based on the type of product and its components. Below are the details of our Warranty Policy.
Consumers responsibilities
On receiving delivery of the product, it is the Consumer’s responsibility to:
Inspect your order:
o Check your order has the correct finish, colour & quantity.
o Upon delivery, inspect for damage. If there’s any damage, email your claim with photos to hello@lavariinteriors.com.au within 5 business days for a replacement.
o Claims will not be accepted once the product has been installed.
Ensure that the product has all its components included in the packaging; and
Ensure installation is performed by a suitably qualified tradesperson.
Warranty timeframes
Our warranty timeframes vary depending on the specific product. Please refer to each individual product page on our website (www.lavariinteriors.com.au) for further details.
Faulty Items:
If you receive a defective or incorrect product, Lavari Interiors will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective parts, or provide a full refund.
The request must be made within 30 days of purchase.
Claim Procedure:
To qualify for a refund or exchange, the customer must provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue to qualify for a refund or exchange. Lavari Interiors reserves the right to inspect the product, or request video/photo footage outlining the issue, before approving any warranty claims.
What is Covered
Main Body Warranty: Covers defects in the main body of the tapware or fixture, such as cracks, leaks, or failure due to manufacturing faults or material defects.
Components/Parts Warranty: Covers defects in the seals, rubbers, cartridges, and other moving or internal parts that impact the functionality of the product.
Colour/Finish Warranty: Covers defects in the tapware’s finish, such as peeling, fading, or discoloration caused by manufacturing defects.
What is Not Covered
The following issues are excluded from our warranty:
Damage from misuse or improper installation: The product must be installed according to the manufacturer’s guidelines and by a qualified, registered or licensed (where applicable) tradesperson. Failure to do so may void the warranty.
Wear and tear: Normal wear, including damage to seals, rubbers, or finishes due to cleaning or frequent use, is not covered.
Cosmetic damage: Scratches, stains, or surface imperfections caused by improper cleaning, chemicals, or abrasive materials.
Accidental damage or neglect: Damage caused by impacts, freezing, fire, water damage, or exposure to extreme conditions.
Altered or modified products: Any product that has been altered, repaired, or modified in any way by a third party.
Consequential Loss Policy
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lavari Interiors excludes all liability for damage or injury to any person, damage to any property and any indirect consequential or other loss or damage.
Lavari Interiors will not be liable for any of the following arising from the use of or reliance on the product:
Loss, damage, or injury
Claims, costs, or expenses
Damage to furniture, floor coverings, walls, fixtures, or other property
Any reasonably foreseeable consequential loss due to defects in the product or its components
Consequential losses include, but are not limited to:
Indirect losses
Loss of use, profits, funding, or revenue
Damage to reputation or goodwill
Business interruption
Increased operating costs or expenses
Special or indirect losses
Exemplary or punitive damages
Our liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product only. We do not accept responsibility for any indirect or consequential costs resulting from product failure.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To initiate a warranty claim:
Contact our customer service team at hello@lavariinteriors.com.au with your order details (receipt or order number), a description of the issue, and any relevant photos or videos showing the defect.
If applicable, we may request the return of the defective product for inspection before processing the claim.
We will either repair, replace, or offer a solution based on the warranty coverage.
If your claim is approved, we will arrange the repair or replacement at no charge.
